Dear Debbie,

You are what everyone wants when they look for a real estate agent, buying or selling. I have been singing your praises to all my friends since you helped me buy my house five years ago.  I didn't know anything about buying a house, especially an older Midtown house like I wanted, and you walked me through the entire deal, teaching me about the process, what to look for, and perhaps more importantly, what potential for charm and beauty lay behind some ugly ducklings that just needed a little paint or TLC (and which ones needed a lot more!).  Not only were you very comforting and informative during that time, but you also found wonderful people to work with us to do the inspections, repairs, and legal paperwork.  I bought a beautiful house that was everything I wanted while I lived in Memphis.

This last year, as I put my house on the market to sell, though, you really pulled out all the stops and earned the title of Best Realtor Ever.  I certainly had to have been the Worst Client Ever.  I had left Memphis the year before and rented the house out.  You dealt with the renters (no small task), spruced the place up for sale (also a lot of work), and found buyers in a declining housing market.  The final buyer was also a first time buyer, and needed as much guidance and help with their purchase as I had needed several years earlier, and you provided that even though you weren't their realtor.  Finally, most amazingly, you did all this while I was overseas, often out of any sort of phone or email contact.  It was an immense relief to know that I could trust and count on you to make sound professional judgments on all the details that sprang up while I was out of contact, and to provide honest feedback to me about what was going on.  And, you did all this with a smile, although I'm sure this whole process must have been exasperating at times.  My mother, who had my power-of-attorney and so was involved in this whole process, told me every time we spoke, that I had a "gem" of a realtor and praised you for going so far above and beyond the call of duty. In a letter, she wrote "Deb's amazing.  You are very lucky to have found her".  She was so right! 

Thank you, Debbie, for all your help and hard work.  I wish you the best of luck as your business continues to grow.

Wow!  I have a house!  Thank you so much for all your help.  I know you did so much for me to make it possible for me to buy this house.  You did a great job at answering all my questions very quickly.  You recommended a great mortgage company and the home inspector, too.  I was really impressed with both groups.

Because you know the community so well, you do a great job at “selling” me the whole package.  You were always available when I had questions and honestly, I could go on and on.   

Thank you so much for everything you did.  I am very pleased to have just purchased a new home and one in this area.  I am so excited to be in my very own house and in Cooper Young area.  It seems to good to be true.  I am looking forward to living in this community!
